TERMS & CONDITIONS


By submitting an entry to Shiver International Film Festival, you agree to the following:


Film Festival -

 

I, the Submitter, submit this film as my original work and I am the owner of it, thus I am responsible for obtaining all necessary clearances for exhibiting the film at the Shiver International Film Festival.


Shiver may use the film’s title, names of cast and crew, posters, and images / screenshots from the film, as well as footage from the trailer, to market and promote the film’s participation at the festival, without limitation.


Festival dates and location are subject to change. 


Shiver will not be held liable for films that are lost or damaged or non-functioning.


Submitter will indemnify and hold harmless the festival, its parent company, its affiliates and subsidiaries and any of their respective directors, officers, employees, and representatives from any claim or legal action arising out of exhibition of the film at the festival.


Please note: the appropriate entry fee must be paid at time of submission. All fees are non-refundable.

Screenplay Contest -


I, the Submitter, submit this script as my original work and I am the owner of it, and if the script was co-written or based on existing material, I have obtained all necessary permissions to enter it into the Shiver International Film Festival Screenplay Contest.


Shiver may use the script’s title, names of the submitter / the writer and any co-writers, and its logline, to market and promote the script’s participation at the festival, without limitation.


Shiver will not be held liable for scripts that are lost or damaged or non-functioning.


Submitter will indemnify and hold harmless the festival, its parent company, its affiliates and subsidiaries and any of their respective directors, officers, employees, and representatives from any claim or legal action arising out of entering this screenplay contest.

All rights of the script remain with the submitter / writer. It is recommended that scripts are registered with the WGA or Copyright Office, although it is not a requirement.


Once a script is submitted to Shiver, rewrites or revisions will not be accepted, unless the revised script is submitted as a new entry.
